oh, computer break down? ask adrian come repair.
oh, got a lot of things to bring? ask adrian help you carry
oh, blah blah blah... ask adrian lor.
okayyyy, this is getting way too awkward, almost threading on creepy. i mean, i don't even know him well. least to say, he's only an acquaintance. but to hear his name popping up in the house is almost freaky! i mean, i am so not used to hearing another person's name in our conversations. perhaps i am being too sensitive.
ok, maybe auntie irene is just being nice. to even volunteer his son to do things for her best friend's daughter, or the family. but seriously? i think that's a little too overboard, if i were him, i would be rolling my eyes, like, i don't even know this girl!
but got to confess that auntie irene is really nice. i mean it just feels so natural to have lunch with her on sundays. i don't know what's on the parents' minds. but i hope they are not up to any tricks. they even plan to go holiday together. ok maybe it's just the adults plans, but seriously if it were to materialise, i think they'll drag us along.
I DON'T KNOW MAN! wow, why am i so vexed over this? i mean, it just extremely strange when he sat down beside me, and we were just inches apart, and silent! i keep hearing his name at home, i don't want to get used to it! even when dad suggested asking him to come over to take a look at the comp, he sounded so matter of factly, like eh ask adrian come and help leh. i was like, OMG!
but, that day when we were in the car, and you were stopping the car at the bus stop, and the fact that you turned around to say goodbye, and ensured that i picked up all my stuff, is... sort of strangely sweet. i mean you even dressed quite decently different from the first time. perhaps i am reading too much. but seriously, i really appreciate his kind gesture. i was surprised, like really surprised you even bothered to turn your head around to say goodbye. seriously, that's kind of sweet. for a moment, i didnt know how to react. ok that scenerio still lingers in my head.
but hey, other than that, i don't know him. i don't appreciate the parents always asking him to help me do this or that. i mean i don't want to appear needy. i am capable of fending for myself. the last thing a girl should do is to appear needy! i think it works the same for guys too. i wouldn't want a man who's constantly crawling at my feet, or pleading me to love him or something. you don't need to be this needy to be loved. confident people are the most attractive lot.
well, what can i do. seems i'm gonna see and hear more of him in time to come. i think i need to get used to it then. i just think it's a little scary that mum is always talking about him!
